Like AliChraim said, approximately 30 days (except if 30 days is full during the weekend...) but they warn about delays because of high volume of request. How funny. A high volume of requests?? Delays??? Could it be that people are slighly freaking out because their applications are stuck, and try to understand what is going on via GCMS?!?!?!?!
Irony is they send it on 30th day ..but if you closely look at GCMS they might have generated 5-10 days after request ....
whats funny getting a GCMS delay is even more than getting PR in others provinces , my freind got his PR in Ontario in 3 weeks since he sent application

I know! It's so silly, and I don't really understand how come there is a gap between generation and delivery. Shouldn't they be sort of simultaneous, that you press a button for a query and then send it together with an automated message?? Apparently not.

I don't know actually why this delay, my file received on November 2016 and till now no medical
any one know the reason for this big delay ?
I am starting to wonder if it isnt faster to open an EE profile....even at this stage.

Many possible explanations, mostly speculation
-Different visa offices work at different speeds. What is yours?
-CIC has put Quebec program on slow mode due to MIDI conducting extra interviews for PEQ applicants. Why everyone must suffer, don't know.
-Certain nationalities seem to be waiting longer than others
-Intake target for the year has been reached
-low priority of program
-influx of asylum seekers caused some agents to be relocated to other programs to accommodate them
Go figure.
EDIT. My guess is that the (minimum) intake target has been reached.

Yeah many are thinking that but we all are in catch 22 situation , first need to withdraw federal application , surrender csq and then go ahead with EE so its a trouble all over again...
