Hey Guys, I gave my passport for PPR visa stamp to VFS Global Lahore office. Today I got a message saying "PASSPORT HAS BEEN FORWARDED TO ABU DHABI OFFICE FOR VISA STAMP". To my understanding our passports go to Islamabad to get stamped right?

Islamabad probably busy so they probably offloaded to Abu dhabi. It doesnt matter where visa is stamped.

My only issue (personal level) is they should not mail passport international without your consent. However it is just me

People who dont provide NN signing pictures are asked to provide those by LVO unless LVO finds their explanation sufficient. In that case an applicant must provide explanation of the circumstances and provide proof that their Nikkah actually took place (letter of confirmation from the Qazi). The Qazi should be the same whose name and cnic appears on your NN. You can attach the letter with a cppy of NN as an added proof.

Not everyone is asked for nikaah signing photos or even an explanation. I provided no such pics and they never asked me anything about it.

COPR return is hard to predict. Some people get it within a week but for others it can take up to a month. It's been about 2 weeks since we submitted the PP to Islamabad and no reply yet.

This should be legality issue. Passports are not supposed to move out of country without consent or the person. I checked the status on VFS global website tracking section and it shows it is being processed in Islamabad but the text messages update i am getting are saying its being processed in Abu Dhabi lol confused

Thats great. Every visa officer is different. Lots of people have been asked about it, as visible on the spreadsheet notes section. Better to be prepared and provide pictires or explanatiom to save time.

May i know if anyone has sent the passport to Abu Dhabi Visa office after 10 november and received the passport back???

I have submitted on 12th and still waiting to hear from them...

My wife submitted hers on the 20th and it's been sent to Abu Dhabi as well, no idea if this is normal. (Passport was submitted in Pakistan)

Thanks, I see the same, tracking messages say Abu Dhabi but tracking on the VFS site says:
"Your processed passport has been forwarded to the Canada Visa Office, ISLAMABAD"
