Just wanted to ask a question. If CIC asks for information and for instance gives us 30 days to reply. If we send them back the reply within in 10 days, so would still wait for that 30 days to complete before they reply or they can provide an update earlier as well.

I applied for my wife and time line looks like this:
Dec 8,2016: Application Sent
Dec 23,2016: AOR
May 26,2017: Proof of cohibitation required
May 30,2017: Sponsor approval
July 12,2017: Medical Request
July 27, 2017: AIP
Still seeing application received on her side. Any idea how long it would take to get a final decision. On the online account it shows they are reviewing eligibility still. But does not make sense as the AIP was received. We are with etobicoke office.
Finally, we received an email for landing interview!!! We are September 2016 applicant...no SA or AIP. Thanks everyone for this forum. It helps me so much to be positive and patience. I hope everyone get the good news too soon

In our case, the mycic account was not updated until landing was completed, so don't worry about what it says. Check ECAS and when you will see decision made on both the sponsor side and the principal applicant side, you will know you are done and just waiting for a landing interview.
