Please anyone help me
I had applied for SOWP on Sep 11 along with my wife (student) visa. We both had applied together.My spouse got her student visa in Sep'17 itself. and mine SOWP was refused yesterday.Exactly two months, 8 weeks.
It was Paper based - Banglore VFS.
REASON FOR REFUSAL: No confirmation from the college regarding spouse enrollment study permit status or spouse active permit status.
Need advise how to go about it. Can somebody help me in this regard. As my wife has to board the flight by Dec'17 for Jan intake. But she can't go without me.

medicals...upfront
10/11/2017...got the approval mail
passport...dispatched

it took 4 months and 10 days for the entire process..

Hi everyone.

I have a question about the spouse open work permit based on PGWP. Is there any restriction on the duration of the PGWP holder's job?

I am working as a full time contractor in a NOS A job, yet the contract is for 3 months only (can be extended). Given that, does anyone know if I can apply for an open work permit for my spouse now or I should wait until my contract is extended or offered a permanent job?

Reason,
You have not provided sufficient documentation to support your or your host's income and assets.

what does this even mean?

i have showed all my financial documents and also have shown enough assets.
can anybody plzz help who have gone through a similar situation?

Misunderstood the email from CIC thought it was approved when It said ..." your processed passport has been dispatched"

SOWP rejected on Nov 8th.. after 4 months of submission

Reason:

your submission do not demonstrate your spouse in canada is employed under NOC O,A, B position

I have submitted my employment letter ..the letter had my title/designation , salaray,
did not have : any noc code, duties, roles and responsibilities mentioned ..

I would like to reapply ...

Ohh it doesn't have NOC code too?? Tat s a must.Even if ur roles, responsibilities are not mentioned tats okay
