Hi, Can you please let me know where you uploaded your offer letter and paystubs in Online while doing spouse extension?

Misunderstood the email from CIC thought it was approved when It said ..." your processed passport has been dispatched"

SOWP rejected on Nov 8th.. after 4 months of submission

Reason:

your submission do not demonstrate your spouse in canada is employed under NOC O,A, B position

I have submitted my employment letter ..the letter had my title/designation , salaray,
did not have : any noc code, duties, roles and responsibilities mentioned ..

I would like to reapply ...
any suggestion and inputs please help me out

what does this even mean?

i have showed all my financial documents and also have shown enough assets.
can anybody plzz help who have gone through a similar situation?

Finally, Sowp Approved after 3 TRV rejections
Applied on August 2nd
Upfront medicals
Paper Based- Bangalore vfs
Approved : November 9th

I also had 3 Visitor's Visa Rejection. Hopeful and Praying that my SWOP this time will be granted. Applied Aug 18 and submitted on 24th, it said 8-10 weeks but still no update.

I haven't mention NOC in my employment letter.
But i have mentioned my duties, roles and responsiblities.

As roles, duties are defined in letter, are they sufficient, or NOC was must.

Hi Simar,

The thing with CIC is that you never know what is enough. But you should make sure that things that are must should be stated in your application forthrightly.
In order to apply for SOWP, NOC category is a must. Now if the officer is nice and has some free time, he could definitely look up for your role and responsibilities to find out the correct NOC category that you fit in. But if he is "not in the mood", he could simply say that the supporting docs did not support your employment type in Canada. In any case, if you receive a rejection with this reason, just request them to reconsider your case and submit the appropriate letter stating your NOC category, signed by your employer.
