Well, since I decided to pay the fee just like that, without prompting, I sent the receipt first through case-specific enquiry, then through email to the address provided. So I never had "action is needed" in my account. My account has looked the same since February.
Thanks
@Betula,
because in my case, they sent me asking for the RPRF and requesting to send the receipt to an email address. Although I did what they said, I still can find (your action needed) in MYCIC. This is until I saw by accident that there is a button (view submitted application) in MYCIC, and when I presses it, I found that I should submit the new required documents there. I submitted the RPRF receipt and the RCMP criminal record also through this MYCIC.......after that the status changed from (Your action needed) to (Submitted).....I thought this will be helpful for others to know.

Little risky to land anywhere outside Quebec for Quebec PR holders. I have not seen any rejection but I have read a case where a QSW had to wait for several hours with family at Rainbow bridge. I have also read a case where QSW landed in Toronto Pearson without any issues. I would avoid it unless absolutely necessary.

I also completely agree to this point we shouldn't take any risk unless the one is in great need to do this .
Wow... could this be any more confusing???
Thanks for the info, btw....
It reminds me of the issue concearning open work permits for CSQ holders, were there was a lot of conflicting information...
Could it be maybe that it was a rule to apply within a year a long time ago, and now it no longer applies? Maybe (maaaaybe), the rule was based on the fact that CSQ needs fo be valid in order to issue the permanent resident visa... so, maybe they were thinking that if the CSQ is valid for 3 years then you need to apply within one year so that the CSQ is still valid at the end of the federal stage?? I dont know... it is purely speculation on my part. I was under the impression that we only had a year because of the presentation i went to. The guy who told us at the presentation that we had one year to apply was a MIDI employee (the presentation was in late 2015).

Thanks for your input. I am asking because I am considering landing in Ottawa since I live in Quebec already and apparently you can just go there (office landing in Ottawa) the 2nd and 4th tuesdays of the month without an appointment and do your landing

Why do you need appointment? You should be able to land 24*7.

Because I am talking about office landing as mentioned, i.e. in an IRCC office
Hello friends,
So here is my final update.
I received my COPR on the 5th September.
I decided to do the Landing through the appointment in the IRCC Montreal (I live here as a temporary worker). So I called CIC and requested an appointment. I was told that it would take 15 business days to receive a communication from the Montreal office with a date and time.
Well.. it took almost 2 months to receive the IRCC communication, which apparently is normal nowadays since they receive lots of requests.
So finally the day arrives. I'm a bit nervous.
Everyone was super nice, from security to the immigration officer.
Documents requested: COPR, CSQ, Passport (with my Work permit) and RPRF receipt.
Very simple questions were asked: Date of arrival and Address to ship the PR card.
They gave me information about the PR status in Canada. 10 minutes and it was done.
It was very quick, simple and pleasant. It was basically me providing those documents and receiving lots of 'Congratulations' from everyone, even security. Lovely landing
It takes a few weeks to get an appointment, but other than that, I recommend it to everyone already living in Montreal.
Thank you for the important support I received here. (Campbell Cohen services were crucial too).
I would like to wish you all the best of luck and patience!
Stay strong! We're warriors!

I see, sorry I did not read very carefully before. Good luck with your landing!

Because everything is delayed, for various reasons. Especially if you applied in PEQ category. But seriously, you didn't wait for that long yet, just relax and enjoy the ride
