Hi guys. Advice needed please.

So we sent in our federal application in June. It was received on June 6. We got AOR towards the end of September. 13 months from date of receipt would be July 2018.
Now we just found out that we're expecting baby number 3 which is due in July 2018. We're wondering what is the best option. Plan to have the baby here and risk having to extend the process? Or go to have the baby in Canada so that he or she will be a citizen right away and would not need to get a CSQ and PR. Any advice?

Cameroon. Just moved here in June with my husband who is Cameroonian. We planned to stay here till the process is complete. I am from the Caribbean though.
It's highly unlikely that you would be able to move to Canada before delivery due to current processing timelines and travel restrictions during pregnancy. It's also impractical as it would be very difficult for you to settle down in new country with your situation.

Assuming that you are not moving to Canada before delivery, what would be the Citizenship status of your new born after delivery? Citizen of Caribbean? Citizen of Cameroon? Dual Citizen? Also are any of these countries visa-exempt in Canada?

The baby would most likely be Cameroonian if I stay here. No visa exempt. Sigh. Yes the way things are going it would probably take a miracle to get the PR before.

So your best option would be to let CIC know a month before delivery that you are expecting so that your application is put on hold. Once you have baby's Passport and Birth Certificate in hand then work with MIDI to get CSQ for new born and then send new born CSQ ( plus other forms + fees etc.) to CIC so that your application is resumed.

Other alternative would be to skip CSQ part and add baby as non-accompanying to your file and then land with you and your husband as PR and baby as visitor. However please note that there are good chances that visitor visa for newborn would be rejected and your new born would need to live outside of Canada until he/she gets his PR via Family Sponsorship route with one ( or both) of the parents living in Canada.
