Then you don't really have any File number yet until you receive AOR, stay tuned for that. By that time, keep trying with the Receipt number. If it doesn't show up anything then it's likely they didn't put your application in the system yet. When did you submit application?

I sent it on July 27th through Canada post and the package receipt was signed by some gentleman named Mohammad on Aug 2nd at the immigration office.

Wait a week or so, you should be able to check ecas soon

I understand this question might have been asked couple of time , I tried my best to search answer but didn't get the finite response.
Could anyone please help me.

I got selected in second round of family sponsorship and planning to apply. Need basic information about forms.

My case - I am PR in Canada and sponsoring my mom and dad, Spouse is NOT co-sponser.


- Application to Sponsor, Sponsorship Agreement and Undertaking [IMM 1344] - I have filled this form and Put My Dad as Principal applicant. Do I need to fill another one for my Mother ?

- Generic Application Form for Canada [IMM 0008] - To be filled for both parent ? Or only main applicant ( My Dad) ? I am mentioning my Mother as dependent.

-Financial Evaluation for Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship [IMM 5768] - I think I need to fill this.

- Schedule A – Background/Declaration [IMM 5669] - Should I fill one for my Dad and one for Mother ?

- Statutory Declaration of Common-Law Union [IMM 5409] - I think this is not applicable as they have marriage Certificate ?

- Additional Dependants/Declaration [IMM 0008DEP] - - Is it to be filled for both parent ? Or only main applicant ( My Dad) ?

- Additional Family Information [IMM 5406] - to be filled for both parent ? Or only principal applicant ( My Dad) ?

Do I need to send two application sets ?

Please help me with these basic questions.

I think main application is just for your father (if main applicant).
The rest of forms like family info and background for both.
If you read the guide it would tell who needs to fill which form at beginning of each form. Better to check that again

After getting AOR , didnt get SA.
Others didnt passed medical and rejected

yep, possible, plus sometimes its very tricky to link application so use just adults 2-3 or 4, skip passport info, use capital letters if you used it in the application

1.Application to sponsor (only 1 form by you)
2.Imm008 (only 1 form by main applicant(your dad) your mom will be mentioned in that form.she doesn't need separate form
3.additional family information and background declaration.these 2 forms will be filled separately by father and mother both.
4.additional dependent form(no need to fill this form if there are no additional dependents)
5.common law declaration(not required in this case)
6.5768 form to be filled by you

Hi There,

I received the Police certificates request today. I had applied for my parents in the first round. I have 2 questions.

1. Does everyone receiving medical and police certificate requests together or one by one?

2. My Dad is the principal applicant. only his UCID is active till now and showing the status of "APPLICATION RECEIVED". it is not showing any status for my mom, neither does my Mom UCID active till now. How can I confirm if they have included my Mom too in the application as a dependent. as the email requesting police certificate didn't mention anything too.
