Has anybody ran into a situation where they are able to see the status of the application in ecas but unable to link it in myCIC account. Is it normal to have a delay between the two? I tried every possible combination but cannot link the application in my parent's account.

yep, possible, plus sometimes its very tricky to link application so use just adults 2-3 or 4, skip passport info, use capital letters if you used it in the application

hi, after you got the letter that application accepted, what's the next step? whr does the application go?
can they ask for more doc or reject ?

then they should approve you like a sponsor and send your case to Local VO. in E-case you will see "Decision made" for sponsor.

Hi everyone, please update my status, I received a letter from MIDI yesterday saying that the application is approved (I live in Quebec). Application transferred to Singapore.
But I<m still not able to link the application online

If I am the sponsor of my Parents PR application, then should I be the representative? What would be the advantages of declaring me as the representative? As a sponsor, should we not be able to get the updates or discuss about the application with the CIC? Can you guys please give a clear idea on that. My parents are staying in Bangladesh now.

It's not mandatory for you to be the representative, it's optional.

If you're the sponsor as well as the representative, you've the legal clearance to get status updates from IRCC. Being a sponsor doesn't automatically qualify you to discuss your parent's application with IRCC under privacy laws. If you don't declare to be the representative, only your parents can discuss the application with IRCC.

Did anyone whose visa processing center is Ottawa, receive the medical and police report request so far? I got the approval as an sponsor end of June, no other update though.

Same status here. Sponsorship approval in June end, file transferred to Ottawa. No news after that.

Anyone with Visa Processing Centre Ottawa received medical/police clearance request?

That's the link, i tried using the Receipt number and put my info in there . So you will put sponsor's info
