Request new photographs for PR Card after landing - add your case here

So I managed to speak with the agents at IRCC just now. I believe they don't have any latest information - I was told that CIC is clearing backlogs of photographs received on the 12th of September - which was the case 10 days back as well.

PR card of My friend who sent his photos on 02/10/2017 has been approved yesterday. He doesn't know when CIC received the photos.

So, they started processing photo received in Oct.

Would you guys suggest that I may receive my firs PR Card before the 20th?

Actually I should cancel my Dec 15th flight anyday soon! It’s obvious that I won’t receive my PR card sooner than that! They received my photos Oct 16th!!!!!!!!

Do not cancel as of now. They have already approved an application on 9th Nov whose photos were sent on 2nd Oct (must have received by 4th or 5th Oct). You should get your card by Nov end

Do not cancel as of now. They have already approved an application on 9th Nov whose photos were sent on 2nd Oct (must have received by 4th or 5th Oct). You should get your card by Nov end.

My wife's photos were received by them on 6th Oct, I will update once they approve her application

Thanks so much the quick reply. The thing is if I apply for a travel document which takes 20 days+mailing time would that be too late waiting till end of Nov? I guess I can do Express which cost $50 more($120 application feel). Feeling CIC just a cash cow....

i received photo request for me and my spouce in our respective email address on 30/10/17. we landed 09/09/17.i have not received photo request for my minor 2 yr old child. today 10/11/17.
not even approved in account.
i tried calling them for about 3 hours. its always busy and not able to talk to agent. i am frustraed now. i doubt ,her photo is also rejected and i dont know where have they sent the mail to.

Just one question: you landed on 30th Sept and sent new photos after 13 days. How did you come to know that the original photos were not as per the specs?

Have you also linked her application to your myCIC account? Sometimes they take a few days more or less as each application including photos are processed independently.

I know,I phoned 10 times at still unable to get an anent to speak with! Good luck!

finally i have put an email to the sydney PRC address asking for the same. I will call again monday morning.
