It doesn't make sense for airport employees to demand NICOP because the kids are Canadians with a Canadian passport. Some people just like to make useless issues so if anyone bothers you about it, simply say it's irrelevant because they don't need NICOP to travel to Canada.

what will happen if someone has all the other occassion pictures but Nikah Nama signing pictures were not taken. Pictures of Nikah ceremony is there. but signing nikah nama pictures are not there.

It’s better to get it now since you are in Pakistan and they were born in Pakistan,So in reality they are also citizens of Pakistan and when you decide to visit Pakistan in future you don’t need to go through visa process all you have to show NICOP at the Airport.

Yes i agree too. Try to get NICOP. What if you go to airport with confirm flight with your 4 kids and wife, and FIA simply refused your explanation. Even before dealing with FIA. you may be stop at the main Airport door, as Airport Guard must check your Valid Passport, flights tickets and NICOP. so even at the main airport door your entry to airport declined. OR you may want to contact Canadian Consulate in Karachi and get some information from them about your kids Canadian Passport and their safe travel from Pakistan to Canada.

I don't know the reason why, but they will ALWAYS ask for NICOP when leaving Pakistan and entering Pakistan. I suggest you get them made to prevent any issues when leaving Pakistan. Don't risk it.

My suggestion get ur Nicop and for ur family as well. My family was refused to board the flight to go to Canada just because their nicops had expired. Now all of them are canadian citizens and one of them american born and one canadian born. The reason they gave for refusal is tht since their nicops were expired they had been living in pakistan illegally and immigration could have sent them to jail for tht. So they all went home with their luggages and had to rebook flights for later date once nicop renewed. So see lots of hassle....better to be safe and prepared than sorry...

Do we need to submit anything online or do we just submit the appendix A and 2 photos to the VFS office? We will be submitting in Islamabad.

Does the applicant herself need to pick up the passport or can someone else pick it up as well? I believe the applicant needs to submit the passport herself but someone else can pick it up.

Pick up details will be mention on the receipt u will receive after submitting pp.

Guys can you help me to understand a timeline.

Like my application was transferred to LVO on 29th Aug 2017 as my case was processed through the lawyer I checked the status online at services3.cic.gc.ca and it says:

When can I expect the status to be changed ? Pls advice as it seems that I have to wait until May 2018.

i am in the same boat.
my file was trasfered to LVO on 27 Sep though and it says on mycic that they started processing app on 13 OCT 2017.
so that means some one has looked up the file in LVO and now its waiting for an officer to take charge on it and send it for background check.

but i guess the time line of LVO vary's too much. i hope someone can give a better answer on the timeline.
