No BGC has not started. At least not on GCKey it doesn't show.

You need to wait for the BGC to start...mine started on 28th sept and my DM ws Nov 1. I heard from ppl after ur bgc goes in process it takes 2 days to 4 months for them to reply...n mine is infront of u..have patience n keeep praying tht they dont ask u anythinf n waste time further...

It's been 6 months for me since my BGC started

You re-submitted your notes request on Sept 26. I initially submitted mine on Sept 20 and got them yesterday so it took 40 days in total. Another member also got theirs in 40 days recently so I think that is the standard time right now. Give it a few more days and you should get them soon.

I don't think the MP can be of much help. Did you hear back from ATIP regarding the email you sent?

Nope, still waiting for a response from them. Haven't gotten the notes yet either.

We submitted our passports to the VFS lahore on 30/10/17 and today we received the passports back with visa. On 3/11/17 please update the spreadsheet. Thanks a lot

Yes, they'd be able to put in a direct line of inquiry and get your notes quickly.

I asked them if they could find out anything about the notes we requested and how long they'd take, and their response was:
"As for the ATIP, I cannot procure any information."

So that's that lol...I'll just continue waiting for them.

I have applied in Jan 2017 seeing everyone getting BCG DM PPR makes me worried why I haven't heard anything after my file was transferred to LVO in March like there is no movement on my application yet

So I emailed my MP since we haven't heard a peep from LVO since April. The good news is they told us that the PA's eligibility has passed and security is in process (criminality has either not started or they couldn't get the info on it).

I also emailed LVO and they said our application is "currently undergoing routine background checks". Alhamdulillah this means that our file is being worked on the silence made it seem otherwise but when I inquired back in August, they said our application was "with an officer awaiting review".

This means that somewhere in the past 2-3 months, our background checks have begun processing! Even though myCIC showed BGC in progress back in April (before our file even got transferred to LVO), they didn't officially start till a few weeks ago. I think this new trend of BGC going in progress while the file is still at CIC is misleading. My guess is CIC *just barely starts* looking into BGC, updates it on myCIC, then sends the file to LVO where months later, they start the real BGC. Problem is that we can't know for sure when LVO really started them. Those who get BGC in progress late in the process are lucky because then you have somewhat of an idea of how far away DM/PPR is.

Something that confused me though is that my MP said since our sponsorship eligibility was passed on March 30, our 12-months processing time is until March 30, 2018. I always thought it was 12-months after our application was received at CIC (making it Feb 27, 2018 for us)?

Over a month taken by VFS..... I thought it would be quicker since this seems to be low-season so shouldn't be too busy...
