I'm 11 months in (since submission). And not a single peep out of LVO! All my fellow Dec applicants are getting good responses. Can u tell me what is the criteria for being put in an interview queue? I have a pretty straight forward case.. no age difference, rukhsati done, no previous refusals, and no gaps, etc.

Do they usually ask for additional info before putting u through interview? My upfront medical is expiring end of November. Do you think I should wait for a remed request? My cic says "additional docs (voluntary visit proof) are being reviewed". No other change. Please guide. Thanks.

I received my AOR1 today. Alhumdullilah. My app receive date is 22nd Sep 17.
Now I did link my app online successfully using the GCKEY account on Sponsor's email.

I got another email @ applicant email ID just now which includes instructions to link.
Should I link it again with another GCKEY account?

I don't see any red flags on you app.You should be hearing from them soon. In my opinion you will receive a remed request within couple of weeks. if you look at the spread sheet no one in this batch has heard anything from LVO. It is just a matter of day they gonna open your application. just wait few days

How long does it typically take for them to begin processing your background check after London office recieves/begins processing your application?

The status on MYCIC for BGC doesn't change according to when they actually start the BGC. They could reveal it at any point on MYCIC. It just depends on the visa officer. If you really want to know whether or not it's started, you'd have to order GCMS notes or make an inquiry.

True, thanks for the info. I just don't see the point of ordering those notes regardless of the situation it'll happen whenever it will. I can't make it process any faster.

Thanks alot. I appreciate it. I hope thats the case for me also. This waiting game is just really frustrating. They ARE reviewing my additional docs so that must mean something. Gotta wait this month for medical expiry before I make further inquiries. Thx again.

Has there any example where we as sponsor can call our (wife/husband) to visit us in Canada while their Spousal Application is in process? do they issue visit visa to principal applicant?

Hey so i have a question. Do i need to put my info(sponser/spouse) on appendix A - updated information chart or just my wife(PA)? It doesnt say if mine is required or not. It doesnt really matter. Im just wondering why they need my passport number and stuff? Im not travelling with her

Only info of PA and dependent if any.

Yes. However Pakistani spouses who apply for a temporary resident visa get refused 98% of the time.
