Just talked to CIC, May 24 applicant - As per agent, everything is done just final decision to be made by Nova Scotia Office. Deadline is pushed to March 1, 2018.

That's true guys.. if they taking more time then why they're posting 16 months on CIC processing timeline..
I'm 30 May 2016 applicant and same thing told by agent when I called them March 2018 is deadline..ridiculous response.
Does anyone knows what's the fee for BOWP ? Is it okay if BOWP is in process with expired WP but PR file in process (as required to be keep the status valid ) Work permit expiring on Jan 19, 2018. Processing times is over 100 days but my WP expiring in 85 days. Am i screwed if didn't get PPR before Jan 19, 2018? May 27 applicant . BGIP on Oct 15, 2017.

No, you're not screwed. I'm currently on implied status my work permit was expired on October 19th and i had applied for BOWP extention on 11th. Your SIN number expires when your work permit expires but as long as you have applied for an extention you're fine.

lol you can even apply one day before expiring. Me too on implied status. My working permit was expiring on 20th August and my file was completing 16 months on 22 august. I was expecting to get ppr till 19th August. Then I applied work permit on 19th August and my old work permit expired on 20th August . Since that I am still on implied status. As long as you applied before expiring you are fine
