I would have loved to agree with you but I beg to differ. IELTS is a widely accepted English exam, with its standards. I doubt if they would restrictively focus on serving only the needs of CIC, while forsaking other organizations that accept their proficiency certificate.

The reason I said this is because when you apply for IELTS tests, they ask you for a reason of application and when you choose immigration then most likely you get 6.5 in writing module.

October 2016, they skipped the draw 1st week, followed by 2 consecutive draws. I dont know maybe they do something different in October, just think in the wild
