Application went to both in my case. Although I, the sponsor, was not designated as a representative, I still got the AOR and my wife got an AOR as well.

Did you receive the medical request by email or was it loaded on your GCkey account? My timeline is almost the same as yours but my wife hasn't received anything yet.

everyone is different - some a few days, other months... you will just have to wait and be patient

We received email to link my application: October 2, 2017
We received a medical request: October 4, 2017

Do you know in this process when they will tell me I am eligible to be a sponsor? Or is that already decided? When I look at my online application status it says decision made. But nothing is updated when i click it.

Can someone help!!!!

If your ECAS says decision made, you can expect to receive the sponsorship approval email within the next few days. I think ours said DM for about three days before the email came through.

Use family name + file number + city and personal info + 2 as members. this worked for me and the rest failed to show any applications.

That process is supposed to be a separate one. You should find out the SA verdict soon. I don't think medical request implies sponsor approval. keep checking the e-cas. Did you receive the medical request via email or on the GCkey account?

Same here.. I'm having a hard time to link my application...i 'v tried all the possible options already..soo frustrating

use the UCI/App# option (and copy/pasted those numbers directly from the email), completely skip the entire middle section with passport info etc and go straight to the last section and fill out the city/province info, put 2 ppl for application (you+sponsor, no dependents). It should link with no issue.

P.S. In case you have dependents, add that number to 2. So let's say you added 3 more dependents aside from the sponsored spouse, you should enter 5(2+3).
