i meant more than 6 months
The famous thread on the group
I shudder every time I look at that thread
I really hope all the applicants on there get cleared fast

I know :/ Cic really need to rework their systems. If it's a no just tell them instead of making people retake their medicals twice
On your application status page click on "View submitted application" at the bottom. It might show which documents are needed.
Yea i did that before.. no placement for new documents... i guess CIC have yet to update my status

Have done that already boss... the customer care officer told me not to worry about the status, and that they do not require any more documents from me.
plus the standard " the processing time is 6 months, it is too early to say which stage your application is at."
and they refused to believe that some people are getting PPRs within a month....

I wish it was as simple as that!
Every application is processed differently because of several factors. So while it may appear as if our case is identical to someone else, believe me it's not!
And there are hundreds of applications being processed at the same time - naturally it'll take some time. We've to remember we're not the only ones who are being processed and CIC is doing the best it can. A little patience is good for all of us. We'll all get to Canada sooner or later.
Best of luck!

Thats true. But its hard to fathom when some get the PPR in a month or less
.... I think deep down i really feel insecure.... Like what am I missing/whats taking them so long
Trying to make patience my new best friend now..

yes but i'm referring to those who have been waiting for a year.
The wait is really difficult. Unfortunately we can't do anything else but wait. Hopefully it'll all be over soon.
Good luck to us.

Ohh. Then I guess all you can do is wait. I think it’ll change when some immigration officer starts working on your file again.

Day #42 in IP2
Day #109 since AOR
Cic account shows "We need more documents to continue processing your application. We will send you a message with more details." since yesterday.
No e-mail, no message in application, no changes in submitted application. GCMS notes already requested, not delivered yet.
Already checked the similar posts on this forum, but inconclusive. Any ideas?
@legalfalcon ,
@dr feras , anyone?
It is probably a glitch. The same day they generate my GCMS the same thing happened to my account and it still shows the same message but they never send anything. I heard from few other people similar story
any movements from IP2 to PPR yet guys?

I know a couple of people got it on Monday. After that it has been dry.
any movements from IP2 to PPR yet guys?
Nothing here.
AOR to date : 115
IP2 to date: 48
Here's my timeline:
25 Aug - AOR
08 Sep - Medicals Passed / IP1
11 Sep - NA
22 Sep - IP2 and waiting..
I called CIC last Friday, and a very helpful agent checked my case and told me I passed criminality and eligibility, "they are currently doing a security check which is standard, we do that for everybody". And i've been waiting since. It's been 11 days since i'm in IP2, since my application is being processed fast, I'm expecting a PPR soon, but no one knows how long that damn security screening takes.. thoughts ?
