I was applying for FRC from Nadra website and it shows that Husband NIC martial status still shows unmarried hense FRC cant be issued.

Now I live in Toronto and my wife in Karachi, does anyone knows the easiest way my martial status in Nadra records?
My wife's record is already updated because she has a new CNIC showing husband name...

You have to modify ur id card first and then apply for FRC.and keep calling them if you do not hear from them in a week or two.

On the same note. Has anyone here not submitted their FRC (family registration certificate)? We have only submitted marriage certificate from nadra, nikah nama in english and urdu, birth cert and nic . All copies were submitted as certified true copies. Please advise how important is FRC and if you submitted it ? Thanks

i had the same argument with my hubby who insisted on getting a FRC due to the wait time. I had to eventually get a new NICOP created and then only a FRC was possible .. i think it's important .. he spoke with his friends who had also applied in this family class .. and they all attached FRC .. one of them did miss it and was asked for it later .. now this is only true if both sides are pakistani citizens ..

In proof of relationship they mentioned " Provide letters from friends/Family that your relationship is recognized by them. My question is how many letters we have to proved and also please guide me what we have to write in these letters.
I will be thankful if someone share sample of the letter.

both my hubby and i changed our status on facebook .. that's one recognition right there .. no need to get personal letters from friends and families .. as long as they have recognized you some way on social media ..

It happened to me too. The best thing is apply online for it. Choose the option of modify identity card amd you can apply for a changed martial status. The fastest way is that get your nic delieverd in pakistan. Once you recieve your id card ask your wife to go to nadra office and get the frc. Let me know if you need for help

you can't have it delivered to a Pakistani address if you are living in Canada .. i tried that and it wudn't let me ..

so apply for a modified nicop online .. and wait for it to show up in their system few days later .. technically once you get an email for delivery confirmation .. then ask your wife to go to Nadra office few days later and ask them to pull up your info .. then get the FRC .. it takes a day if they are not busy ..

Hi, Thank you for your help. I have one more question. I asked whether to submit translation of nikkah nama also or not and got conflicting responses. Can u help. I didn't submit urdu nikah nama with the application. submitted just nadra marriage cert. Now they asked for urdu nikkah nama. So do i need to submit translation as well? thanks again.

I have recieved my COPR and intend to land in January, insha Allah.
I plan on getting married before landing. My spouse has sufficient CRS to fetch direct ITA, and I look forward to add her in EE pool.
My question is:

1- Based on above scenairio, should I change her name in CNIC, and passport, and get husband's name added?
If yes, all her PCC and reference letters and degree have her name with father's name in it and not husband's, how would I support this change?

And, would having a spouse in Canada, give any extra points, if we are not going the spousal sponsorship pathway?

COPR, Passport with visa stamped, POF, address in canada, good declaration form, and goods to follow, if carrying jewellery, or if its in goods to carry, then pictures of jewellery. That's all.

Cic clearly mentioned that every document which is not in English or French should be translated in English or French. So please translate it then attest the translation from notry public also.
