CIC received my application on 24 Aug after resubmission from June because of missing doc. After some time I realized that they update the forms IMM 1344 and IMM 0008 which I filled out in June and didn't update before resend. I checked the forms again looks the same I think. Will they accept or send it back? What to do ?

Did the send back ur app along with a cover letter?

though the forms are same but the main difference is of their revision date which you found in footer. It all depends if the processing officer accept the same form or ask you to re-send the updated form. I believe that they should accept your current forms as you have initially applied in June, but I hope you have include your covering letter.

The forms are the same. Only change I noticed it was the check list. I only included the new check list. And sent it in as brand new app.

Hi.

I had the same issue. And in June they changed the checklist so I basically re-filled the forms and send it in. Also made some corrections to mistakes I made initially such as the part about if members of your family attended your wedding. One part I did not catch at the moment it was that in the form asked: related to Sponsor or Principal Applicant - I just wrote "yes" which means yes they are related to sponsor and applicant, but in reality that question was about to WHOM they were related if to the sponsor or applicant so we have to take some names down and put in my relatives name as well, since we wrote P.A only... And plus we updated our national identity cards as well in the new form and added bunch of other documentations. I also updated my employment information...

But I donot see any notes or any prints when they sent back our forms and supporting documents. Again we sent it in 15 days ago and we hope all is complete this time.

I think when they mean "unprocessed" means unprocessed meaning no judgement was done on your app.

And why are you worrying so much? What you want to updated? or you want to change the story? i would not recommend changing the story. If you are just updating and correcting some mistakes, I would not worry too much about that just update you app accordingly.

I am not worrying my file was returned and I resubmitted On the 21 of august however I was asking the person if they recieved a cover letter for additional documents as that was what they required of me..hence I didn't do over the forms because they emailed me and told me to fix the issue and resubmit the returned app

No I didn't include the cover letter.

I finally received the SMS msg this morning! After almost a month they received our package!! Phew. Now the real waiting begins.
Be patient everyone. Im guessing we will start receiving AOR in September.
Im so relieved it arrived safely PHEW

p.s. ill update the spreadsheet when im on my laptop

from what ive read in other threads, the wait for Acknowledgement of Receipt (AOR) is about 4-6 weeks from when they received your application. you will only know if they received your document if you signed up for sms msg with your application or if you sent it with a courier requiring signature otherwise you will be waiting until AOR to know if it arrived.

I submitted my application on August 14 but haven't heard anything yet. Any idea when they come back to us ????

i sent mine on the same date via DHL and arrived on 15th. I have been reading the some threads on May to July application and seems they are taking more time to process the app. I think we will hear something back 2 or 3 weeks from now.

I have a feeling summer time is their busy time. If you think about it most people get married in the summer.
