I landed in 20th of june and i talked to the lady on the phone on the 10th of august she told me your mom is okay but rest of family member need to retake photos ,we went to costco and sent it to the address together with the email saying that you have to send it within 180 days , but wth the lady on the phone have no update on the status even she dont know that the photos were recieved or not ? but the tracking number showed it was recieved by mr kwas or sth like this

Yes! Your application will turn to "Approved" from 'submitted' on myCIC, that means it has been dispatched. And, you will receive an email 24 hours later stating that your application has been updated.

Additionally, you can call up IRCC and the agent will confirm if it's dispatched!

Hi I appreciate your response, thank you very much but my file shows 'approved' for a week now & i did not receive any email. Also I did landing on 3rd of August. i have to get to india by 23rd. any suggestions would be helpful. Even my friend is flying in 3 weeks after me and said he would get it delivered in india but am worried what if I dont receive the card until he departs.

Guys .. do you know what date they are currently processing for photo re-submit requests ?
 
And after the PR card is there a tracking method for health card ? How do we know our HC is processed and approved and despatched ?

Are you sure your Permanent Resident Card and NOT Permanent Residency application shows as "approved" ? Aug 3rd landing date means it should only be ready by Oct 3rd. I doubt yours will be processed so quickly. o_O

If it's the latter (which again I highly doubt) then I would call up CIC and find out the "card dispatched date" and the address they sent it to. Accordingly, I would then check my mailbox, old addresses on file and with my neighbours. It should come within 5 days from the dispatched date.

So do that.

My card was approved on Aug 9th but only dispatched on Aug 14th.

You should have landed after your India trip. The only other option you now have, is to apply for a PRTD doc from New Delhi!

Finally got my PR card. Long wait has been completed.

Heads up with the address change even after changing the address. My card was sent to old address.

If any update required to the mailing address, better update before card go for production.

Hi all,

I finally got my PR too.
Landed on June 26 at Toronto Eitobicoke Office
PR approved on Aug 18 online, but No email notification
PR Card arrived Aug 25
