Hi guys,

I landed in SK on Aug 13, 2017 and now waiting for PR card. I have seen some people saying here that they have linked their PR application to MyCic other then their PR application.
Can anyone please tell me how can I do that? I tried it already by using my Last and Given name, DOB, Birth Place and landing dates etc and it says no Application found. Please help.

That is correct! IRCC: 1-888-242-2100

They will send you an email asking you to re-send new photos within 30 days of that email. It'll be from <Permanent-Resident-Card@cic.gc.ca>. Additionally, you can call up IRCC and they will look at your notes and confirm the same.

Thanks for the reply - I tried to call the number but it said it could not be connected. Does it only work at certain times of day? Also does everyone get a request for photos? I haven't received any yet. Thanks!

No. But if you havent got your PR Card in 65 days time and no updates online, then most likely your photos are screwed. The only way to be certain is to either get a hold of an agent or wait for the email.

Tip: Try calling at 9 am

I think because you changed your address it might have gone to the old address. Typical issue.

I can't seem to find a logical reason as to why my card is taking sooo long, unless of course if they have lost it. I have never changed my address.

I spoke with the IRCC Rep. They said, my card was posted to the address which i updated recently.

Oh, well then! Lets hope our cards are just in a huge pile and will be delivered soon. There's nothing else we can do except pray and wait. I have 9 days left before I fly out.

I am landed on 27th June and still the stutus is submitted.
Any one get approval after the said date.

Mine was Approved yesterday. I landed June 28 but my spouse's remains Submitted though. Just now I received email from CIC that my application was Updated.

I landed on 27th June and got an email from CIC about the application status just now. It's Approved.

I landed on 29th June 2017 at Niagara Falls, still no update to my status. Hopefully will get something in couple of days, looking at your case

Yes! Your application will turn to "Approved" from 'submitted' on myCIC, that means it has been dispatched. And, you will receive an email 24 hours later stating that your application has been updated.

Additionally, you can call up IRCC and the agent will confirm if it's dispatched!

They updated the application on the website. The emails go to my husband, so I am not sure. Nothing happens to confirm they mailed the card though.
