So did they return your application and then you re-sent it to them with the missing document or you sent a new application and got AOR1? sorry for asking too many questions
When you call them, can they find your details by UCI number or do we need to wait until AOR1 to call them? I am just asking because if I dont get AOR1 within regular time frame, I want to call and ask so we can prepare to re-send the app without wasting time for the post to arrive if it is returned.

If you do not have any of the above information and wish to call then call at 1-888-242-2100 (in Canada only) and choose options 2 - 1 - 1 - 0.

Most of the time you will get disconnected because of too many call and then you have to keep trying.

Oh ok Thanks for the info. Actually I(Sponsor) have my UCI and my spouse has one too from Visitor visa. So we thought we can use it since UCI will not change after
This is inaccurate - you do not need to wait for aor. You can call cic and they will tell you the file number if the application has been processed. We had this happen with us 3 days before aor1
Hi there, does anybody get same experience before as we sent our application on 11th Aug from Richmond by priority of Canada post, it says guaranteed delivery on 14th Aug. But now we lost the tracking info..it shows item processed still in Richmond now..we phoned CP that saying they cant allocate this package...we have no idea whether it's lost or missed somewhere...anyone here saying we can use reference number to search? what's it? My wife and me are very disappointing on this matter...it's just not started yet...
One more question:
What if the Canada Post display no delivery information, then how would we know our package is being received by CIC, just by waiting the AOR1 notice email? I wonder we can check up other way maybe ring CIC to confirm?
