Where did you get that info from? That you receive MR requests a year after your application is received? I know that medical is valid for one year, but I believe your statement is incorrect.

My FT is in first week of March'17 and waiting for MR. I submitted PCC which was issued in Mid September 2016. Will I require to submit a fresh PCC, as I am assuming that the processing will not be completed within one year of PCC issue date? Please suggest.

Generally they don't need PCC again like Medical. Wait and watch.

No because apparently MR is issued after a year from the date CIC receives your application so im just waiting til I reach a year
Used to be after 6 months but now it a year you have to wait for MR.

As stated previously, MR is not issued after one year of CIC receiving your application. It is mainly dependent on the visa office that will be processing your application. Yesterday I rec'd my MR requests and I got my AOR in July 2017. So there is still hope guys!! Keep the faith.

I am writing this for my brother.
He received mpnp october 2016.
Application sent to CIC in december 2016
Fee deducted in february 2017.
unfortunately we did not receive AOR until now .we tried to contact them but it is not possible without applicaion number .Have any other method to enquire about the delay?

Link it online through Gckey. You can do this inserting exact information of submitted application. Better open up your applied Generic form and insert word by word answers. After linking it, you will get Application number XEP....................
After omitting the first X, the remaining thing will be your Application Number, like EP........ ..... Then, by the help of this number, you can raise CSE (IRCC Web form). NO need to write UCI number. Any one can work. Here is the method for linking, without UCI and Application number.

Choose "Sigh Up"

Choose "Accept"

Create your username (Ex. rohanindian, or......) then press Continue

Ok I understand as I am an outland applicant and the process does appear to be moving faster than for inland ones.

Your AOR should have the file # you need to link your application. Use this instead.
