Where did you get that info from? That you receive MR requests a year after your application is received? I know that medical is valid for one year, but I believe your statement is incorrect.

If you see the trend from recent applicants, you can tell that they get MR a year after after CIC receives their application. Or can take more an a year to receive MR.There is no statement saying that its exactly a year. With CIC slowing down these days, all you can do is follow the timelines of other people and see if it matches. Previously its only 6 months than CIC will issue MR but now its longer.

Hello Palex, Wonderland might actually be correct. If you notice the timelines of most applicants, they actually receive MR one year from the date application is received. It might take a few months more or a few months less, but generally around that one year mark.
