You could Learn french and get an extra boost with the TEF. I did it in the beginning of this year and got a boost of 9 CRS points.
I got from 0 to CLB7 in 3 of the 4 categpries, in a period of only 4 months. The Speaking category I only got to CLB4, because I didn't have anyone to practice with. It is truth that, because I speak english and spanish, french was easier than it may be for people not coming from a romance tonge.
But if you take, say, 6 to 8 months, really practicing one to three hours everyday, you could get to a CLB7 in all 4 skills.
Also, do you already have a Master's degree?
You could find an online option that may be done in a year. Making sure first that it is indeed equivalent to a Canadian Master's, in the WES webpage.
And, anyway, this year I really expect the CRS to come down to 415 again. I toke the OINP route because I planned to be in Canada in January, and now it seems it will be closer to March, so I really don't want to wait longer. But I'm pretty confident that if I could wait, the CRS will reach new lowers this calendar year. There's really no reason for it not to do so.
To keep it short (or not that long

), the thing is to make your best not to do something you could regret, like separating your family. It's really very bad for your children, and for your relationship with your partner. Maybe you decide to study, to boost the CRS, and in the meantime get a direct ITA because the scores went down in two or three months from now.
