Mon Project : Cap-exempt applicants

Hi Nykro,
Will we have to inform the MIDI that, I belong to the Cap-exempt? I applied on 22nd Feb and havent received any checklist yet. I'm in montreal for the last 2 years and with an valid Offer.

When you filled the application form, they have asked you for resident status in quebec and if it is more than 6 months then you are automatically Cap-exempt applicant.
Just have patience you will receive the document request soon.

I sent my documents on 6 July and Documents received confirmation on 11 July. Still not received the CSQ. Any idea how long it will take??

Could you kindly help provide us your timeline when you submitted the application and when you got the checklist? Thanks for sharing~

For Cap-exempt this is the condition: "If you have a job offer validated by the Ministère or you are a temporary resident of Québec and are authorized to submit an application for a Certificat de sélection du Québec, you may do so at any time."
Here, temporary resident means atleast 6 months as less than it doesnt count as RESIDENT.

I thought 1 year stay in Quebec is required before an applicant is considered as cap-exempt.

In addition to mentioning that my séjour is in Quebec in my application, the other thing I mentioned is the "Numéro de référence individuel" when I created the Mon Project account. This Numéro de référence individuel number can be found in your CAQ letter. This number might help MIDI in identifying you as Cap Exempt. I got the Ouverture de votre dossier letter and it had the same Numéro de référence individuel number I gave along with Numéro de demande number.

I applied on May 18th. So I do not have anything else to update.

Does anyone here have a Valid job offer which can help add 8 points? How could it help accelerate the application process? Currently I have a closed work permit and work here as a temporary worker.

When you get the document request then you have to send one photograph along with other documents. Also, 2 additional photographs when you apply for federal application.
