Feb 2017 applicant here. I just received my GCMS notes. There has been no movement since my last set of notes 3 months ago. Last update in the notes was file transfer to LVO on April 11th.
Eligibility, security, criminality all "Not Started" and paper file location is still "In Transit".
Oh man this sucks! so not even the initial review? Any notes from CPC Mississauga? when did you order your notes?

Same as my wife application, I order GCMS notes to only find out nothing has been done. But according to some forums, it is also because may be sec and crim does not require in your case.

Nope, there is literally NOTHING since April 11th so zero progress. No initial review, no group, etc.
From CPC mississauga, there is just one note where it tells the date of landing of sponsor (me) and relationship proof doc submitted (Marriage Certificate). All pretty generic stuff. This was at the time of sponsor approval.
I ordered notes on June 24th.

Oh I see. Well I would have felt better if there had been some movement somewhere... Let's hope for the best in August!
CIC website says a maximum of 20 photographs to be submitted to them, but on forums I have seen some people sending more. Should I send 20 or more?

The more the better

We sent 20 photos, good ones, of Nikah signing, with lots of family members, of all events, dinners after and before wedding etc. But we sent more low res pics of all events with title of event and caption of every pic and sometimes up to 4 pics on one page. Just because we felt 20 pics is not enough to tell our story of 1 year of relationship prior to the actual wedding and 7 years of friendship prior to that. Each case is different so do send them great 20 pics and send some additional ones just in case you feel they should have more. ( we sent 52 additional ones and the 20 requested so 72 in total).
an APRIL 2017 got PPR request on Facebook page. It looks like different groups of LVO working on different cases. Our cases are stuck with backlog
Can anyone tell me how to write the date on texts and screenshot of calls after printing them out if the date isn't showing, like can i just writecit by hand on top
Yes, just write them in by hand
My ECAS shows *Sponsorship Application Status* decision made but *Permanent Residence Application Status* in process. What does it mean?
It means that you have received sponsorship approval (you are eligible to sponsor) and your application is in progress.

No an expert but from the looks of it, your security is underway and eligibility has been passed. Your medical is extended which is a good thing. I would say if everything is okay with your security, no red flags, recent travels to questionable places (as per Canadian standards) then you are good to go and will get DM soon. All the best. Again not an expert.

I know it is very discouraging. I was reading that files that are straight forward and all documents and evidence is as per their requirements, are given preference over others. Makes me think my husband and I are either missing docs or sent in wrong ones or something along those lines. I just wish everyone gets DM soon. Its so hear breaking to see some members from 2015 still waiting. My heart goes out to them.

They asked me to send 15 to 20 additional when i sent them 20 only .. it was veryyyy hard to choose just 20 out of 100s .. so .. go ahead and send them as many as u like .. just make sure it covers all ceremonies ..
