Hi good people,

received landing interview date from CIC on July 27, 2017.
I am April 1, 2016 applicants.
thanks all of you for advice and guidance.
I am so happy, especial thanks to my who supported me a lot throughout the process.

Landing in two days.... On Friday. Any experiences about landing in Vancouver? I took whole day off from work so I don't be late or something.

Received an email today from immigration for landing on (Etobicoke office) Aug 3rd 2017!

Congrats Erable!! Happy for you. Etobicoke's landing appointment is FAST! Everyone is very nice.

Landing Appointment at Etobicoke:

When you enter you show them your landing appointment letter and they give you a number. You take a seat and wait until your number and counter are called. Moves really fast as there are many counters/booths. Ask you for your landing letter again. Ask for Passport, DL and one photo. Did not ask for receipt but please have it, just in case. Asks last time you entered Canada? Tell your spouse about 3 years financial obligation. Confirms residential address.

Then the three questions (Committed crime, refused entry, dependents under 18 yrs). Have you sign both COPR copies and give one back to you. Stick the photo to their copy of COPR (I guess will use photo to generate PR card). Advise that you keep COPR forever and do not lose.

Inform you PR card will come in 8-10 weeks. Ask if you have OHIP and what to do. Instruct you to go to Service Ontario to get your permanent SIN number. (Note: Let you know that you can acquire your SIN number immediately at the Service Ontario in the same building.

Inform you have to be in Canada 2 out of 5 years (730 days) to maintain PR.

Got DM on sponsor side July 14 and got email from cic stating::
This refers to the Application to Sponsor a Member of the Spouse or Common-Law Partner in Canada Class you submitted to this office on behalf of xxxx xxxxx.

You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. The Application for Permanent Residence (APR) for your relative will be processed separately and he/she will be contacted shortly.
But didn't got anything after it.
Can anyone help me ..

That is SA (Sponsorship Approval). Congrats!!!

I asked them that my criminal and security check status ? Then confirmed that all done and they said they r reviewing ur eligibility

Well, I am sure you can detect I am on to something regarding closer scrutiny for sure in my posts regarding this... Definitely something is up, as they are working out of order here...

Oh my god we got Decision Made for PA on eCas. Less than a week after they confirmed the receipt of our additional documents (proof of co-habitation)

When I checked my cic it still says that they're reviewing the eligibility requirements

Do you guys know why? Is it usually out of sync?

How long till we hear something from them now ??

Oh my god we got Decision Made for PA on eCas. Less than a week after they confirmed the receipt of our additional documents (proof of co-habitation)

When I checked my cic it still says that they're reviewing the eligibility requirements

Do you guys know why? Is it usually out of sync?

How long till we hear something from them now ??

Kitchener was fast for us, but slower (needed an MP poking from) for GuyanaGirl.

I always check / trust ECAS over myCIC unfortunately...

Kitchener sent a note faster than CPC-M did. We had a landing invitation, before we even had the DM letter. The individual offices are who actually does the scheduling.

It's a positive result. They need to send you a procedural fairness letter before they stop processing/refuse a file.

Congratulations! and don't worry about mycic. In our case, it wasn't updated until after my wife landed.
