i find out what going on since I am diabetic we echo ultrasound of baby heart on Friday it's good Tuesday Ultrasound tomorrow I see obgyn fir everything on Friday going to a diabetic Dr for insulin I was taking diabetes pills before pregnancy

Once person get PR (inland) how long he/she should wait before applying for citizenship for inland who was in Canada.
I know about PR
Be a Permanent Resident (PR) Have lived in Canada as a PR for at least 4 years out of the 6 years (1,460 days) before you apply. Be physically present in Canada for at least 183 days of each year during the 4-year period.
But what about all this waiting period? Do they count it somehow like 50% from the day of receiving application or something?
Just wondering....

Any day now . I know it's really hard. Just ask some of my comrades around here -- they will tell you -- I went totally nuts around the beginning of March up to April 28th.... I think they signed a petition to have my internet privileges removed, so I wouldn't post anymore!

Yeah that's about the time they ship you to the OB. I wouldn't worry too much... As I said, many, many, many pregnant ladies I will see tomorrow -- it's every couple weeks that I go first thing in the morning -- there they are! It's like being at the OB's office again, haha!

there is a new law that was voted in June that will bring it back to 3 years (1095 days) out of 5 years. Each days you spent in Canada before your PR will count for half a day with a maximum of 365 days that can be counted before PR. So the earliest you can apply for citizenship will be 2 years after your PR.

The law is not fully implemented yet. But it's coming and it's official.

This has recently changed. I believe the new law will take effect in fall. So it`s gonna be 3 years in 5 years. And also the days prior to PR will be counted as half day up to a max of 1 year. Magic number is 1095 days from now on.

Dear friends
July 21 I got a message from cic.its saying 'it has been determined that you meet eligibility requirements to apply for permanent residence as a member of spouse or common-law in Canada class.'

And I passed for medical exam July 28 and I sent to them explanation letter about copy of valid passport (they requested copy of valid passport)

And my wife got a message from cic too it's about eligibility decision she met eligibility requirements

So friends do you know what's next step and is that mean application approved or still nothing?

Should I fill it or should I just go there and ask them and fill up every needed paper, looks like there few questions it wont take more than 3 min to fill up.
BTW I have change my address in Ontario a year ago should put it in the section (where did you move from?) or don't act stupid and write where I came from before landing in Canada more than a 16 month ago.

Use the previous address outside Canada.

It's now far reduced. My wife can apply May 5, 2019 (time spent before PR in Canada is now half time, upto 365 days, and total is 1095 days).
