Thank you for your reply. The delay of 7 months is promising. Hopefully I will get it in less than 13 months. I received my AOR 4 months ago, but during the last 2 months no thing has been happening on my CIC account.
I just noticed an error in my original message, I didn't mean to ask if someone got the PR in less than 1 month, I agree it is not realistic, I meant less than 13 months (it was an error related to the Keyboard), I just corrected it. Thanks.
Most of the people here i know got their decision made in like 10th or 11th months including me... and since the way Cic works is totally unexpected and pathetic... couple of us are waiting for our passports to come back after stamping even after 2 weeks of them receiving it, which is nearly standing on needles like thing and full of anxiety.
Good luck.

Hi dear Kham

Usally application number comes with XEP once you have linked your application in MYCIC account prior to the receipt of the AOR and it converts to The EP******** once you receive the AOR officially.
thanks very much sunnymks for your reply, I got this number by calling CIC so is that mean that my application is complete because I am afraid to receive it back ?

Hello,

That is true. I've been living in Montreal since 2014 and my CSQ and now PR was/is being processed in Paris (I'm from Portugal). Even if I tried to have it processed it here in Canada, it was always sent to Paris.

My lawyer (Campbell Cohen) also confirmed that information, nowadays they 'share' applications in between offices to be able to maintain their processing times. We must always wait for the AOR to check which office will process it.

Hope this helps :)
This is the first time I am reading of files being moved from Ottawa to other office. Are you sure that file was sent from Ottawa to Paris and not from Sydney to Paris?

Hello all, what does it means when the file number starts with XEP ? is that means that the file is complete and will be processed or it is just a temporary file number and the documents didn't checked yet for completeness ????
XEP means that file has been received but not checked for completeness. If file is complete, then you will get AOR, but in rare cases files are returned ( most of the times due to missing signatures) and you will see a note for returned file in myCIC.

Hi, guys.

Looks like today is going to be a quite day too...

I was thinking a lot about the quota for the immigration program and the long dormant VO...

So... here is the detailed immigration quotas for every program.
http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-plan-2017.html

Good news: it seems the 30,000 (well, 29,300) for Quebec are exclusively skilled workers and business programs (excludes refugees, family sponsorship, etc.)
Bad news: the target is 7% less than last year

Now, last week we were a bit nervous with the spreadsheet that kikou shared with us... it seemed that we had almost reached the limit.
http://open.canada.ca/data/en/dataset/f7e5498e-0ad8-4417-85c9-9b8aff9b9eda?_ga=2.109065029.1370582662.1499691861-1047176655.1474379549

However, if we look only at the quebec economic program (line 113 of the 1st spreadhseet) we can see that around 13,000 had been admitted Jan-May this year... which is roughly half of the yearly target. This would make more sense, (achieving half of the target by mid-year...)

So, if i'm right (please, please, please, let me be right), it would seem we are all okay, and there is no reason to believe we wont be allowed in this year.

Nevertheless, this does not answer the question as to why there have been no updates recently. Are they all just having daily BBQs enjoying summer? Is there an internal problem? Is the internet down at the VO?

A week ago my PCC was sent directly to IRCC (i never even saw it), and it still shows like "we require additional documents".... so they have definitely not even looked at it.

I obviously hope we all get news soon.. But for now, the mystery remains...

I shared my informations that's it^^ But I don't know how we need to deal with all that stuff. I hoped my PR very hard last week, now I just give up....IRCC plays with our emotion (I don't think I'm alone) and our life and they don't care!

I bet they're enjoying BBQ because they did the same thing last year at the same time.
