I am not sure the QC quotas are applied on the federal level, I remember lawyers telling me that the quotas apply on the CSQ level (i.e. QC controls how many CSQs are issued in any given year) and federal just assumes that all CSQs will get PRs in the next 13 months, so no quotas apply to already submitted federal applications. Not sure if that's how it works, just something I have heard a while ago..
Didn't MIDI issue lesser no. of CSQs in 2016 due to MON project issues? I thought MON project issues will translate into faster PRs for QSW applicants in 2017.

No's more or less are dictated by policies ...MON project is just to ensure that they are at par with technology vis-a-vis other provinces...

Does PR granted through CSQ route do they add up to federal no's? Quebec has say in CSQ (so as other provinces about skills) but do they have say on overall No's?

Agreed but MIDI did not process much applications between Jan 2016 and Aug 2016 due to MON project issues, hence less no. of CSQs were issued in 2016 and less no. of QSW applications were sent to CIC. Shouldn't this speed up QSW processing in 2017? Less no. of applications = Faster processing

Hi
I got a request from CIC as they identified a gap of 1 year on SCHEDULE-A of my wife in Personal History section. That 1 year was a GAP Year and she was deciding if she has to apply abroad for her University of apply with in the country.
In the Activity column I am planning to specify Gap year with the date correction.
Would that be enough or do I need to take some extra actions? Will it effect my application process?

Well 13 months timeline itself say the amount of importance they given to federal process for CSQ also remember this year EE numbers are quite high so resources might be diverted there...so no fast processing as such...
maybe we should forget we have the immigration plan. don't count the time..........
or, the speed will make you crazy again and again...

To be very with CIC , all my friends have received their PE well within time frame and couple of them even earlier than expected so ... we should have something very soon ...

The big question is What's very soon for CIC?
