i have asked this before sorry about that, just being worried here. i have sponsored my husband. sent the paper work on May.8,2017. i haven't received a letter or e-mail about receiving application. Any idea how long it takes for them to send an approval of application received or they don't?

Check this on the May thread...connect with people whose applications were received in May.

How do you upload documents ?

- Log in to your MyCIC account
- Click "Check status and messages" on the main page once your profile is loaded
- At the very bottom of the page, under "Application/Profile details", you will see a blue button which says "View submitted application", click it
- It takes you to next page and you should see where you can upload the supporting documents

Nov 2015 applicant.
my mp update me.

Upon the inquiry with IRCC the following is the update I received:
- this is an overseas application that was received in November 2015
-the eligibility has passed
- the criminality checks have passed
-right now there are outstanding security checks (there is nothing to be worried about as these could take some time to be completed if anyone in the family is employed with the local government or the police and or military). Security checks are done with a Third party, hence there is no time frame for this.

Other than the above update, everything seems to be going well, just the security checks are in process with a third party and there is no set timeline for this.

Hi Everyone,

Masallah Masallah . I got the message on my CIC online application to send the Passport.

There is one question i want to ask

1) It says " To submit your package to Islamabad:" I live in Karachi - So do i have to go to Karachi office with the documents?

2) On the message, they asked for

• passport copy
• Original passport
• Letter photocopy
• 2 pics

Do we have to take these things over to the office?

3) On VFS website - it says " The VAC consent forms”""" what is this?

4) I am assuming " Passport Transmission Service" is for the return of stamped Passport ....... Do we have to pay this " Passport Transmission Service" fees at the VFS office

So I took a picture from my iPad and then uploaded it but after I did that I got a message saying
Uploaded - not submitted to IRCC
Uploaded Filename: image.jpeg

What does that mean ? Has it been uploaded please help thanks

Figured it out had to go to the next page got it just hope they accept picture of the receipt also it was for visa payment but I am the sponsor and I sent on my wife's behalf and signed my name am sure that's ok. But also mp office sent it to immigration just in case

askm @Ahmed786 , can you please provide the specific wording they used for the documentation proof request? Are they asking you to provide the proof if the rukhsati took place, or are they more asking you why it didn't take place?

Yes. They are asking for proof if Rukhsati and Valima took place, as intended in application. We mentioned in the application that Rukhsati will take place early this year.

I think we're all in the same situation, we've all submitted the additional docs requested (Schedule A, PCC, etc) and the status on ECAS is still showing "Application Received". I uploaded the additional docs on May 22nd and still nothing.

I read a post from someone here that said that some applications that are supposed to go to London are going to Ottawa instead, something to do with "OB570". Not sure if some of the Pakistani applications can possibly go to Ottawa as well. It should mention that in the GCMS notes. Also, seems like the Ottawa VO is pretty swamped as well now.

My application was received on 22nd March 2017 and I have submitted my medical and Schedule A when CIC has requested but now its been 2 months after providing them the required documents but I haven't received any letter or reply about transferring my file to London. I don't know what is going on and how long they gona take more?
Any suggestions, what do I need to do now?

in my notes officers asked me to bring more pictures along with wider selection of guest.
do i need to send them requested pictures before they organize my interview; or do i need to take with me at time of interview?
