The document status changed for us as well in CIC to "We do not need additional documents."

We haven't submitted any recent documents. I am guessing that they fixed the issue with their system that was causing a lot of people to see the required documents line.

If you are Nov and Dec 2016 applicant your online application should show background in progress or something similar.

How can that be inferred?

I am a November applicant and if what you have said is true, i 'd be a happy person.

I called the MP office today and he told me that my file will take another 6 - 7 months since the full time is 12 months of processing. I am really upset that he told us 12 months processing. Is it normal response from MP office.

Should we expect to get it sooner than this or no hope ?

Count your blessings that there is a 12 month processing for you at this stage. Some of us have been lingering on for almost 19 months now.

I received a letter today asking in order to go forward there require Pay the right for permanent residence in canda fee of 490 dollars But I already paid this in December when we sent off out paperwork with a copy of the receipt ? Why are they asking for this again please help

Send them an email with the receipt attached along with the Webform Enquiry.

I would also suggest getting in touch with your MP, who maybe able to check your file to see if the officer had lost/misplaced your receipt. MPs can internally transfer over your information to be added to the files.

I was actually in the mp office and she helped me with the payment but total I paid was 550 maybe I paid not the correct amount ? I contacted the mp office jus waiting for a call back and so much easier when they call immigration thanks

But yes I will also send a copy of the letter and the receipt thanks but as soon as I no that I have paid the correct amount ! Wonder if this is a good sign there looking in to my file ? I am a December 2016 applicant

Actually I no what this is now the 490 it's the refundable fee if my wife does not get a visa
This amount is for the visa which some people pay In the beginning and some do not but to avoid delays it should be sent off with your application

It seems I need to follow the same procedure as well. In my CIC an option is open to upload the Passports copies. Do I need to upload these as well or its only for visa free countries?
More over how can I fill Appendix A? With Pencil or I need to type it? And please let me know I need to provide the sponsor's information as well.?

I was failed to catch My CIC, so never tried later. All communications went through email.
Make couple of copies of appendix A, just in case any error. You can use ballpoint pen.
If you are traveling alone then only your information will be needed.
VSF staff will surely help you.

What happens is that they usually update it to "The documents you provided have been uploaded"
But I'd still think that what you have should be fine as well

i have asked this before sorry about that, just being worried here. i have sponsored my husband. sent the paper work on May.8,2017. i haven't received a letter or e-mail about receiving application. Any idea how long it takes for them to send an approval of application received or they don't?
