All my reference letters have been written by HR officials and not by my direct supervisors/managers. I'm thinking of scanning their business cards and attaching them with the reference letters.
Do u have to get their signatures as well?
Hello all,
Needed small help and guidance-
Can the medical exams post ITA , for primary and secondary applicants be done separately and from different countries?
In cases where you have applied as a couple, but ITA is received, but one applicant is out of country ?
Appreciate all help and suggestions ?
IMO, there shouldn't be a problem with that. Just make sure the medicals are done only from the panel of physicians listed in the CIC website.
Good Luck.
Ok sure
Thanks for your help
Cheers
Hi,
Has anybody received the request for passport submission who have got ITA in Feb this year. There was a update in my account that we have cleared the medicals and now CIC Is doing the background check.
Do u have to get their signatures as well?
The reference letter should have the signature of the person writing it. In my case it was the HR. The business card doesn't need any signature.
Good luck

Hi,
1) There is no standard format, you must just ensure that all the required information is on the letter.
"Document requirements
- The applicant should provide an official letter(s) from one or more financial institutions that lists all current bank and investment accounts as well as outstanding debts, such as credit card debts and loans.
- o The letter(s) must be printed on the letterhead of the financial institution and must include the applicant’s name, the contact information of the financial institution (address, telephone number and email address), the account numbers, the date each account was opened and the current balance of each account as well as the average balance for the past six months."

2) This doesn't matter, more is actually good. All they are looking for is that you have more than the minimum requirement.
Purpose of Proof of Funds:
"To confirm whether the applicant meets the low-income cut-off (LICO), assessed by the amount of money they hold compared to the number of people in their family."
