Hi Guys,
When I created my EE profile, under work experience, I stated 2 companies; my current one which I'm claiming points for and my previous company which I'm not claiming points for.
The main reason I included my previous organization is only because its one of the 'BIG FOUR' audit firms in the world and I thought including that would infuse a small level of confidence for the Immigration officer on my credibility of skills.
I have obtained a ref letter from that organization. however, few details such as supervisor's details and pay stubs are missing and I do not think I will be able to obtain them.
my question is, should I remove it and include it only in the personal history category? Or can I simply upload whatever, docs I have for the experience in that organization as I'm not claiming any points for that, the immigration officer can ignore the fact that there are no sufficient docs
Urgent help
I have a question in regard to my case i want to make my profile for express entry i have some doubts about my case. I have done my masters from Windsor university in Canada and have good IELTS score and my express entry points score is 416 without any work experience in India or Canada and my current country of residence is Canada and my work permit is expiring in June 2018.
Under what category i can file my case as i don't have any work experience ?
Hi,
If I am not mistaken you will need to have at least 1 year of skilled experience to qualify for any categories. Take the Come to Canada questionnaire are see what it says.

Hi, Just a quick query. Is only experienced letter required to validate our previous and current job? Or do we need to provide any other documentation?
I have entered these details for spouse ... But only 8 points are given instead of 9.
Am I doing something wrong while filling Education details.
I did not found any option of two or more degree to select while creating express entry profile.
Please help. difference of 1 score matters a lot.
There is no option for two or more. If you list two qualifications in her education history and enter the ECA reference number it should automatically give you 9 points.
Try again.

Hi,
Adding unnecessary documents will just complicate you application. So I would just remove it from employment history and enter it in personal history. I'm sure they will still see and appreciate that you worked for credible firms.
All the best

understood. so will I have to explain why I removed it in the LOE? or can I just leave it as it wont make any changes in the score?

Yes you will. Just mention that you have done so as you are not claiming points for it.
This is very common.

Thanks for Reply Friend,
I got the points by editing Education Qualification.
I made mistake in choosing qualification type.

Hi, any idea, what does CIC do in background check - do they verify documents only or also visit employers etc?
Hi,
1) There is no standard format, you must just ensure that all the required information is on the letter.
"Document requirements
- The applicant should provide an official letter(s) from one or more financial institutions that lists all current bank and investment accounts as well as outstanding debts, such as credit card debts and loans.
- o The letter(s) must be printed on the letterhead of the financial institution and must include the applicant’s name, the contact information of the financial institution (address, telephone number and email address), the account numbers, the date each account was opened and the current balance of each account as well as the average balance for the past six months."

2) This doesn't matter, more is actually good. All they are looking for is that you have more than the minimum requirement.
Purpose of Proof of Funds:
"To confirm whether the applicant meets the low-income cut-off (LICO), assessed by the amount of money they hold compared to the number of people in their family."

Hi Tanka,
Thanks for your reply.Regarding the proof of fund document- Let's say my available funds are in following form--
1. Fixed Deposits
2. Other Bank Deposits
3. Stocks
4. Provident Fund
Among these, Fixed and other deposits and Provident Fund (I work in the same bank) are from same institution. And Stocks are at a brokerage house from where I can produce the present status of my portfolio and if required, last 6 months transactions. I will also be able to get a provident fund statement and certificate from HR department. Now, Do I need to prepare a single document showing all the funds available to me with reference to the individual source of fund document? OR can I prepare a proof of fund document in a revenue stamp which could have all the sources of fund listed and give a total picture of fund available in one doc?
Please let me know if you have any better idea in this regard.
Thank you
