Hello,

We submitted our sponsorship application in August 2016. I am living in Canada and am sponsoring my husband living in India. We received and email on April 26, 2017 asking us to pay the Right of Permanent Residence fee. We payed the same day and submitted the receipt as proof. The only communication we received back from the NDVO was an email stating they received our receipt. This week I logged onto the CIC website to check the status of our application and the status has been changed to "Decision Made". But we haven't received any communication from the visa office. Shoul we be getting a letter or email?

My wife got her PPR on Monday , Does anyone know how many days to get the passport back from NDVO?

Below are the timelines :

Medical done - 22 Oct, 2016
Acknowledgement of receipt(AOR): 16th Nov, 2016
Application number received - 30th Nov, 2016
Sponsorship approved - 7th Dec, 2016
Application processing start (AOR2) - 19 Dec 2016
Passport request - 15th May, 2017

We submittied our file August 5th, 2016 and receieved notice that they had received it August 25. Then I received an email saying I was apporved as a sponsor September 20th, 2016. On October 4th they email stating that our file had been sent to the NDVO. After that we didnt her back from them until March 22, 2016 when they scheduled us for an interview April 24. After the interview they sent an email on April 26 asking us to pay the RPRF.

The interview was good. I was here so my husband had to go on his own. The interview was scheduled for 9:45 but he ended up waiting over an hour before they called him in. The interviewer he had was an Indian woman. He said that she was a little rude, but I think thats just the way they ask questions. He was in the interview for 20 mins.

Most Indian people working in NDVO are always in the Air.
