If I'm not mistaken, I believe you will have to arrange for your own interpreter.
I'll find a link for you, of 100 questions which can be asked at the interview.
I know users don't typically track PR card arrival timelines, but just in case anyone is wondering how long it's actually taking -
I was told by CBSA when I landed between 4-6 weeks, the CIC website said processing time was 52 days, (currently says 44). Mine arrived today, exactly 6 weeks from the day I landed.
And that marks the very final step in this long and at times stressful process! Again, thank you to everyone on this forum especially those taking the time to keep the spreadsheets working seamlessly. Invaluable help.
my husband had his interview today, the interview went great lasted 15-20 mins the visa officer was satisfied with his answers and told him to wait for a passport request! so happy
Dear Gary,
I am a Canadian Citizen living abroad.
Do you have any idea about what happens if we do not remain in Canada after my Spouse get her PR. Do you have any legal references or cases?
Your are not by yourself M8.. My spouse and I applied on April 18 2016 and we are still waiting for CIC decision ... I'm currently living in Bolivia and my wife lives in Canada... According to the CIC website the processing time for Bolivia is 15 Months, so we are down to the last 14 days until those 15 Months are due! We are both so excited and happy...we cant wait to be together.. Its being a very long wait..
Good Luck to all of you.
I'll try to keep you guys posted of how are things going on
Hi, I was approved last month and I arrived to Canada the first days of October.
Did you or your spouse contacted (wrote) CIC to ask what the delay might be?
