Hi all I had filed my wife papers who is in in india on 10th December file was received on 11th at Missiagua office till then no mail no updates. Should i wait for 69 days for AOR1 as website says 69days for sponsor approval, i m having a canadian citizenship how long the process will take. Any ideas.

Hi! Some December applicants have received their AOR including myself though some didn't. If you look at the timesheets of 2015, many of previous months applicants have not received their AOR as well, though some of them did not get their AOR's at all but have gotten their OWP around 3-4 months of their application. I would suggest to wait until 4 months and if you still haven't heard from CPC Mississauga, call them. I know some applicants from November was told by the operator to wait after 4 months. I would also suggest for you to check eCAS as well using the receipt number of your application. And also follow the thread Inland Applicants 2015. Many members will be able to answer any question based on their experience

Few queries. Would be glad if you can help.

1) Will 10th class school certificate work in place of birth certificate? My sponsor has his certificate in other language and does not have his name on it.
2)Do all applications go to the same address given on the website, i.e Mississauga.

3) The explanation for few questions require a separate sheet, can we type it or handwritten is needed?
4) Do we also have to pay RIGHT OF PERMANENT RESIDENCE FEE of 490 dollars? Or only processing fee of 550 dollars?

Sorry if any of the questions are silly. Just being cautious.

Hi! The School Certificate cannot substitute a Birth Certificate. If your Sponsor doesn't have his name on his Birth Certificate but was able to use it on his previous immigration application (if he is an immigrant) then I don't see why won't it be allowed to use this time. Though don't take my advice on that coz I don't really know the right answer to that but I would suggest to do more research on it.

The mailing address depends on how you're sending your application. They have 2 addresses for in-Land application. One if it's thru courier and one if it's sent from the post office.

Extra sheets can be handwritten too but it would be easier for the officers to read it if it's a printed document. Don't forget to sign each of them and write your name on top of each extra sheets and the form name on top of it for example:

John Doe
Schedule A background declaration
Question #2.

One more query please:

For form 5285 question 3: Are you living with your sponsor.
Period of cohabitation - We need to write FROM and TO date.
Q- What to write in TO? Current date or what? (Won't current date seem like we left on this day)

And 0008ENU question 10: Country of residence and status?
We need to write FROM and TO date.
'TO' date asks for end date of immigration status. My visitor is multiple entry 10 year visa.
Q- Should I write the end date that is 10 years after? Or some other date like I have heard visitor is valid for six months at a stretch.

Hello folks,
I've dropped a Spousal PR application back in September 2015(17th Sept) and we haven't received a file number yet. My wife's Visa is gonna expire in June 2016. I can't apply for a bridge work permit until I get the file number or ecas. How long will it take to get a file number? I didn't get the package back yet so I assume the application is full and complete.
Question#1: How long does it usually take to get a file number?
Question#2: Is there any contact point at this time?

Date Received: CPC Mississauga January 22nd, 2016 via Canada post tracking system

I will input my timeline on that spreadsheet as well.

I am working in Canada, have a valid TRV and a valid open work permit ...Does anyone know if we can go on vacation outside of Canada after submitting the application in my situation? Thanks in advance.
