Hi everyone,
I'm planning to apply for a Denmark visa. I'm intending to go to Denmark in May this year and get married there. I'm not very sure where to start the application; the embassy says they can assist with visa applications, so it has to go with VFS. So I would appreciate it if anyone had the same experience before or had information that could provide it to me about the required documents, processing time, and any other relevant information. I went to Germany this Christmas to get married because Germany does not require visas for RTD holders, but they have residency requirements, which we didn't fulfill and have refused to get the marriage certificate, so I want to avoid the same experience this time. I'm looking into it for your ideas and information. Thank you in advance
Process is easy. Online application and then vfs. You need travel insurance as well as bank statement. Visa issued from newyork consulate. May be someone from their, call you , may be not. They give you the exact limited date visa ( arrival and departure date) according to your tour plan. This is all about tourist visa, which i got this way.
But if you tell them you wannna go there for marriage, that might be a another story. Don have any idea about that.
So if they give the exact limit date visa, is it a good idea to move the date of your departure further away to have more flexibility with dates? I might not be able to get a marriage appointment for the exact date.

Sorry about your news.
I hope you didnt wrote about your planned marriage over there.
So What was your intention of visit over there in writing? Tourist?
If so, did you provided any specific tour plan for your staying period in Denmark?

Isn't clear that I called passport the RTD?
And about the previous "PASSPORT" stamps/visas I don't think it's irrelevant, I applied to Chile visa last month and the consul asked to see during the interview, the seized passport ircc copy I had.
