Eligibility changed into 'in Progress' on Jan. 24th
& Background is 'in progress' since Nov. 1st.

Mine’s been changed to in progress for more than a month now. I called IRCC yesterday, but wasn’t much of a help. Did not tell me anything different from the tracker.
Quick question, does PR tracker update after we call IRCC? Mine updated just now. wondering if it due to my call, because I do not see any actual updates.

Yes, tracker gets an update after every call.

I would like to know if you are referring to tracker or GC key Becos I thought once your old uci reflects on your gc key before u get biometric request your background check changes to “in progress “ on the tracker

I am referring to PR tracker.
It turns into 'in progress' right when we get BIL and it stays as it is until the end of PR process.

I got my gcms note today and under biometrics I saw “info: cancelled/error” anyone here knows what that means cos I have been waiting for biometrics for over 4 months now

If it's just the date and nothing else changed in tracker, then it's just a generic system update!

I got an update too but with “ Jan 30: we received your enquiry” I didn’t call them, I only got a reply from them yesterday based on the webform I sent to them on the 27th of Jan

Yes! Everyone receives the date update on different days. It's automated application wise, so, someone else will get it a day earlier/later in comparison to yours!
