I saw on other thread once your old pr card status shows invalid they received the new card within a week. Let's see if I receive this week.

No I mean, did you try calling the contact center already to check?

I did this morning and was told card was mailed out on the 24th.

my application says; Final decision - January 28, 2025:Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

does anyone know what this means? did anyone get a similar message in gckey 1 week before they got their card shipped?

There has been an update. They mailed the card out today.

I did this morning and was told card was mailed out on the 24th.

Update. Mine got sent out on 28th.

Submitted PR card renewal application January 7th, received card in mail on January 17th. Still no status change in the online portal - it still shows "submitted".

Submitted my wife's application on Jan 3rd - still waiting on the card -- anyone know why this is the case and when it should arrive?

Thanks!! Its good times. We both got our cards in almost the same week timeframe. These things are better done with sooner than later.
