August 2023 application, I just received Pre Arrival letter today October 25th . Finally something. What’s the next steps after pre arrival members ?

I'm waiting since March 2024 after pre arrival letter for any action just silence

If someone is not working / cannot work due to family reasons ( basically surviving on social assistance) can that protected person add spouse outside Canada in his/her PR application?
or must have a job / financial stability?
( may b the spouse outside Canada is/was the provider) ..
Any thoughts ..
Or experience…

100% You have to add your spouse overseas dependent on your pr application it doesn't matter what is your income, the only difference is when you have income and work you may get the pilot program which is faster than others, and that one is also depend on your skil Noc and ....

I need to get my spouse overseas PR only have no idea about it and how long will it take for me and my spouse if we apply in the same application and if my spouse apply separately…

care to explain on income and work, do u have more info on that?

Actually those income staff needs to proof after main applicant got his pr status then wanted to sponsor the dependent otherwise work history and other those documents should be submitted with pr

To be honest we are in same boat my dependent is overseas and waiting for response the process is really frustrated and the only way is to be patient some countries depende on situation like war ... has priority for dependent pr other s have to be patient

Hi everyone,
I have a question. I just talked to an agent from ırcc. I got information about my pr application. Also for my partner. He recently sent to them form for me to get information about his case. Representative.

Agent said that for you it’s 25 months now. For your dependent it’s 53 months! I am like what!!! I said he is with me in Canada and we’ve applied for pr together. We both got pre arrival letters. He insisted. He said that no for dependents it’s 53 months I said I knew that it’s for who is outside Canada. I mean the dependents outside of Canada. He said no. I didn’t insist that much.

My question is dependant in Canada, not refugee, applied pr together will get pr at the same time or after me? Which is 53 months?
