My assylum case just got accepted. How should I proceed with the PR application? Should I hire a representative/lawyer? If I do so would I be able to follow my application with my email ,like would I get updates via email? Or Are there people who just help with filling the forms with out being a representative? Also if you think I should get a representative, how would it benefit me? Any feedback is helpful, thank you

For me, the private sponsorship was submitted on 07 November 2023. 10 months passed, still waiting for AOR
PLEASE CAN ANYONE SAY WHY THİS HAS HAPPENED THİS LONG?

Do You have a lawyer? Maybe the lawyer received it.
You can call immigration and ask about your file or request For your notes. Sometimes they forget to notice.

Dear all,

I received a letter to submit imm0149. but I never work any government positions in my life.
why they ask this form? Is it normal that every PR applicant has to submit this form??

I don't have a lawyer, but I do have a sponsor. My sponsor submitted the application 10 months ago via email in Canada inland and received an automatic email from IRCC confirming they had received it. When I spoke to my sponsor, he mentioned that we can't do anything until we receive the AOR from IRCC, at which point we can check the case's progress.

I would like to know if it's normal for privately sponsored refugees not to receive an AOR after 10 months. How much longer should I expect to wait?

I submitted for PR March 2024
They asked for biometrics and Police Clearance - Sept 10th
Police Clearance sent
Biometrics booked for - Sept 18th

What's next and how long?

I DID EVERYTHING MYSELF. ... I dont see why u need to pay someone to enter my own data and attach documents

Me and my partner received pre arrival letters. May 30th, 2023 applicant.
What is the next step? Or how long does it take until decision so you think? Thank you:)

The next step is security passed and complete and if all stages for background check complete you receive final decision , then P1 and P2 after that you receive ECOPR and PR Card
I haven't any idea about time.
