So if your husband is Canadian citizen then he should be sponsoring you for PR. No reason to come to Canada on a study permit and pay international fees. As PR, you are considered a domestic student. Is your husband in Canada? If not, he needs to show intent to move to Canada (lease, job hunting, job offer, bank account).

Yes his in Canada I was just waiting for this study permit to work out but as it taking long can I still apply PR

Sorry, how did he get citizenship without you getting PR? He would have been a PR first and included you in his PR application. Were you included in his PR application and underwent the medical ? Or was he always a citizen.

I wasn’t married to him when he got his pr we only have a child together who says with him cause of the nature of my job and we got married early this year when he returned and he got his citizenship just September.

Ok. So he could have sponsored you as soon as you got married since he was PR. I would start the process now. As long as you were never common law.

Yeah I had a program I wan under going so I wanted to stay back I just completed it February and apply to a school and got admission but as it’s taking long I will just apply the PR and that another long time
