I also got scheduled for November 23. I have not received any email just got updated on my tracker. Hopefully we will get that this week. I am going to call IRCC daily if it doesn’t by coming Monday. LOL.

How did you contact them for scheduling the second oath ?

I have travel planned and just completed by LPP last week. So wondering how long it might take to get the Oath Request

Instructions can be found in the invite mail. I got my invite on 18th for Oath happening on the 24th. I replied the same day, following their format which includes stating my expected return date, and they responded on the 20th thanking me for getting back to them and that I had been put back on the queue and would be scheduled for the next available date after my stated returned date. By 27th (while I was in transit back to Canada) they sent the new invite. So its quite efficient

I've got a question. My application includes me and my 4.5-year-old son. We're scheduled for a virtual ceremony on November 9, 2023, but here's the catch: we're currently overseas.

Now, we've received two separate emails, each with its own seat number - one for me and one for my son. My confusion is this: can I, as a parent, travel to Canada and represent both of us during the ceremony, or does my little one also need to make the journey to Canada and appear on the video ceremony?

I'd really appreciate it if someone could clear this up for me. Thanks a bunch!

I believe you both have to be there. You'll find this clearly stated in the invite they sent. I am sure your son's invite clearly states that he has to be in the country.

Does this always work smoothly? I have seen some posts where people had to wait months to get new appointment.

I believe you both have to be there. You'll find this clearly stated in the invite they sent. I am sure your son's invite clearly states that he has to be in the country.

No, kids under certain age don’t have to attend the ceremony. The parents can represent them.
