Whats your status on the OCI website apart from Acknowledgement ?
Is it Ottawa or Vancouver or Toronto jurisdiction

Go to Consulate tomorrow with ticket copy and any other proof for the reason for urgency to request in-person collection of OCI tomorrow itself from Consulate. Today is Wednesday and open house day (don't know the time). You can even try today.

Its my sister in law wedding. I have tickets though will this work??

Work or not you will know once you try. Trying is your best you can do. Take wedding card copy too. If you do not have hard copy, ask family to share scanned copy, print and take it.

Sep 23 you submitted how come you got acknowledgement on Sep 12? I think it is Oct 12

I'm going to apply for OCI soon and I was going through the checklist of documents.

Did you guys actually submit your original Citizenship Certificate and Canadian passport along with the application? Seems weird that they can't go by with just copies? Any help would be appreciated!

Are you doing postal application? If yes, many did not send it and still have there OCI. If no, just take the original, they verify and give it back. Self Attested copies are needed for submission.

Status changed today to OCI card dispatched via Purolator. Updated status as follows:

BLS tracker:

• Applied (in-person) in Toronto: 23rd September
• In processing at Consulate General
• Counter Delivery to BLS after OCI Stamping: 31st October
• Passport ready for Dispatch after OCI stamping: 01st November
• Comments updated with "OCI card dispatched via Purolator" and also contains Purolator tracking number: 01st November

OCI tracker:

• No records found: till receiving acknowledgement
• Acknowledgement: 06th October
• Document Printing Processed: 30th October
• Dispatched from MEA: 31st October
• Received at Toronto: 31st October

Hi All, i have applied OCI in Toronto jurisdiction for my Minor child on Oct 4 via postal, it shows on BLs website ‘Processing at consulate general ‘ since 12/Oct but OCI enquiry says no record found … is that normal and how long does it take to process when its in this status … Also does anyone know Toronto BLS take walking for entry Visa. Thanks appreciate the help… i found this forum pretty late but everyone seems to be very helpful …. Appreciate what all you guys do here …. cheers

what about the surrendered Indian Passport? Only copies would do for that as well?
