Hi everyone,
Applied for surrender certificate in Brampton and the status shows as "Ready to dispatch" from 5th October. But they didn't sending it. Calls are not being picked up. No replies for email. We have travel plans in January and need to apply OCI as soon as possible. Anyone else faced this situation ?

We sent through Canada post .The return envelopes we have provided Xpresspost envelope. Is it also the reason for our delay ?

Have you tried tracking on puralator website using application reference number?

date of acknowledgement and for other 4 in Ottawa.

Any tracker like this for Toronto jurisdiction ?
 
I am filling up my OCI application for me and my spouse. We became canadian citizens last month. My kids (born in USA and Canada) hold OCI cards.
1. For self basis application, do we need to upload marriage certificate ?
2. For acquisition of canadian citizen, in the form , is it naturalization ?
3. Do we need to upload relationship certificate ? (I tried uploading birth certificate. But previous posts says it is not needed. Just confirming)
4. In Part B form, Have you/any member of your family applied for Overseas Citizen of India registration earlier? - Do i need to enter my kids details as they hold OCI ?

- If your spouse name is on the Indian passport only in that case you need marriage certificate
- Yes Naturalization is correct
- If you are selecting, Relationship with the Root Indian SELF then your Indian passport is enough
- Just mention immediate family members
