so I guess they must be checking your criminality and info sharing, security is the last step, I passed criminality and info sharing already on 28 feb 2023 and after that they start my security and its been 8 months I didn't hear back from them

Background check changed to process again on Oct 4th ( it was in process from the beginning of my application, but I got an update that it's changed to in process)

It's mean that your eligibility passed, and you can use the pre arrival services to prepare your move to Canada, some are getting PPR within weeks after PAL and some take months or even more than a year, it's all depend on your visa office. But from what I observed for most of applications submitted in 2023 that the process is really fast.

Hi..so I have application in the "SUBMITTED" status since august when I applied in the online permanent residence portal. I have applied from Pakistan sinp applicant.. I have not received my AOR yet. But I was kind of confused whether I should also register in the following link

you submitted non EE application in August 2023? If so, than possibly you will get AOR in 3-4 month time period. after AOR you may link your application with GC key account and see your updates. even before AOR your may creat GC key account but cannot do any thing further until AOR received.

I really hope so. With the same situation, my security started on Sep 25 (It started reveiwing). Let’s see when it will proceed.
