Hi. I got ceremony invite today from Niagara.


But tracker is not updated. Is it normal?

Also. We are family of 3. Does my child (under 14) need to take oath with us together? Can i cut out my child’s PR card on the behalf?

Question to families who did ceremonies already: can the all family members connect from same laptop to one zoom (using only one seat)?

My parents (both seniors) applied for citizenship in Feb 2022 and in Feb 2023 they got the invitation for Virtual Oath Ceremony. Since they were out of Canada so they requested to change the date.
Since then no update from CIC and they have been just waiting for new date. Does anyone got the idea how long does it take to get the new date?

First get Canadian citizenship then you can surrender your Indian citizenship. You still need a nationality while having your PR status.

Yes enter the seat no as comma separated. For e.g. 45, 47 , 48

Happens to many where the tracker update no longer happens. Is it in-person or on zoom?
Did you child also receive an invite for oath?

First get Canadian citizenship then you can surrender your Indian citizenship. You still need a nationality while having your PR status.
