Do we know when we will get the email to download the e-certificate? Is that before ceremony or after? I noticed few people receive such emails to register on the portal.

Some receive it before and some receive it after you send the oath form.

I was thinking about ur application lastnight u know, wondering why no update. I thought I heard Oakville applicants mostly are processed in Niagra falls office. For some reason that office they say is slow.

Just to update everyone here.
I finished my Oath Ceremony on a Tuesday (July 11th) and received my Citizenship Certificate by Mail on Friday (July 14th) - Vancouver
In the process to apply for my Canadian Passport now

Thanks for the link. But i got error message "Sorry, we couldn’t create an invitation code for you. Invitation code not created: There was a technical issue." when I tried to register on the portal.

I did my oath on July 18th and I haven't received e-certificate download link yet.

Application Delivered: March 1st 2023
AOR - May 3rd 2023
Fingerprints Request: Shows in the tracker online as of June 27th (No email received till now)
Test Invite Received in the email: June 29th 2023 : test Window July 3rd-July 24th
Test taken: July 7th
Test Status updated to Completed : July 17th

Still shows fingerprints due but no email is received. Raised 2 webforms no luck so far. Tried calling - never reached the call centre agent.

Anyone in similar situation?

Crossed the finish line, folks! Today, I woke up as an Indian and I go to bed as a Canadian. The ceremony was on zoom with 75 applicants. The whole process was smooth and quick. We were done in roughly one hour but boy will that one hour stay in my memory!

It's official, Canadien! Can't wait for my Canadian passport. Did online ceremony, but in retrospect, I think it'd have been fun to do it in person.

I learnt today that along with application one can only get either the e-certificate or the paper. Not both. Since they have different starting serial numbers. One can choose whichever during the ceremony pre-registration process irrespective of what one chose while applying.

Good luck and wish everyone get their citizenship soon as well!

I am in same situation, I called IRCC twice but never received FP letter till now but to save my time what I did went to FP agent and asked to send my FP to both Sydney and Vancouver office though I paid double for both . They sent it based on AOR latter. Waiting for update on tracker
